About Bordeaux Wine Tastings

A wine tasting in Bordeaux is the fast education: a sommelier pours a guided flight — often with cheese — and the country’s wine map starts making sense in one sitting.

Most sessions run 1–2 hours with 4–8 wines. Evening slots fill first; wine-and-cheese pairings are the most-booked format.

What Travelers Say

5/5 from 4267 verified GetYourGuide travelers

"Well worth the visit, such an informative interactive place. So much to see and do. We learnt so much on our visit. Very modern and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Then to finish on the 8th floor for the wine tasting with incredible views of the Garonne River and the city of Bordeaux."

Kylie Australia

"Amazing! Super interactive and informative! Would do again."

Kaitlyn United States

"We were short on time so did not see much of the museum. We had skip the line tickets and went directly to enter on upper level. However by skipping the main reception we did not get an orientation to the museum or a map. It was a faster check-in and directly obtained our audio equipment. The museum is so comprehensive, it was a bit overwhelming and it took a bit to correctly use the audio at each to select the options. We enjoyed the wine tasting at the top floor and the view of the city. If you are interested in details about wine regions, history, sensory smells etc you will enjoy this. Plan adequate time - the younger member of group was bored after first hour."

L United States

"We spent 3 hours there, could have doubled that time as some much to do and see."

Roger United Kingdom

"really interesting and enjoyable dat. great views of city and you drink your glass of wine."

Mary Ireland

"What an amazing place. If you dont know anything about wine it is fantastic a full education. It was interesting the displays and Wine table area was my favorite. Very well worth it and a beautiful glass of wine to finish. Its easy to get to just catch the tram or the ferry both are on the same ticket but allow 2-4hours amazing food hall just over the road also with beautiful street food."
